Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 3, 2026
1. Who we are
Amend (also referred to as AmendFS) is operated by Skunc, Inc. (“Amend”, “we”, “us”). Amend is a change-review layer for CRM data: AI agents, connectors, and people propose changes, and a human reviews and applies them. You can reach us about anything in this policy at y.sato@skunc-ai.com.
2. What this policy covers
This policy covers the personal data we handle when you use any Amend surface:
- the website at amendfs.com,
- the web application and API at app.amendfs.com and api.amendfs.com,
- the command-line tool (CLI), and
- the Amend browser extension for Chrome and Firefox (see section 6 for extension-specific details).
Where you use Amend on behalf of a company, that company controls the workspace and its content; we process that content to provide the service to the company.
3. Information we collect
Account information
When you sign in we collect your name, email address, and authentication identifiers. Sign-in uses OAuth (for example Google); we never see or store your Google password.
Workspace content
Your workspace holds the records your team manages — companies, people, deals, tasks, notes, files, proposals, review comments, and the audit trail of applied changes. This content can include personal data about your contacts (such as names, job titles, email addresses, and interaction history) that you or your connected sources add.
Connected source data
When you connect an external source (for example Google Sheets, Gmail, Google Calendar, HubSpot, or Slack), we read data from it with the scopes you grant in order to suggest CRM changes. Reading a source never modifies it; writes to a source happen only after a person approves a proposal. You can disconnect a source at any time to stop further syncs.
Browser extension data
The extension collects data only when you explicitly act, as described in section 6: the content of a page you choose to capture, meeting audio you choose to record, and the settings and access token it needs to talk to your workspace.
Logs and operational data
Like most services, our servers record operational logs (such as IP address, browser user agent, timestamps, and request metadata) used for security, debugging, and abuse prevention.
Cookies
The web app uses cookies for authentication and session management only. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party advertising trackers.
4. How we use information
- To provide the service: turn captures, source data, and agent output into reviewable proposals, apply approved changes, and keep the audit trail.
- To authenticate you and secure accounts, workspaces, and tokens.
- To operate, debug, and improve the service, and to provide support.
- To send transactional email such as workspace invitations.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use your workspace content for advertising, and we do not use it to train machine-learning models.
5. How we share information
We share personal data only with the infrastructure providers that run the service, with services you explicitly connect, or when the law requires it:
- Infrastructure subprocessors — Cloudflare (hosting, storage, and email delivery), Turso (database hosting), and Supabase (authentication). They process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.
- Services you connect — when a reviewer approves a proposal, the approved change is written back to the source system you connected (for example your CRM or a spreadsheet).
- Legal reasons — if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Amend, our users, or others.
We do not share data with advertising networks or data brokers.
6. The Amend browser extension
The extension turns pages you are viewing and meetings you are in into reviewable CRM proposals. It handles data as follows, consistent with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements:
What it collects, and when
- Captured page content. When you open the extension on a supported page (for example a LinkedIn profile, company page, or post) and choose to capture it, the extension extracts the visible content of that page — such as a person’s name, title, company, and post text — and sends it over HTTPS to api.amendfs.com, where it becomes a draft proposal in your workspace.
- Meeting audio. When you explicitly start a capture in a supported meeting (for example Google Meet), the extension records the audio of that tab until you stop it. The recording is transcribed by our own speech-to-text service, and the audio and transcript are stored in your workspace as evidence attached to a proposal. You are responsible for obtaining any consent required from meeting participants before recording.
- Settings and access token. The extension stores its settings and a workspace access token in your browser’s extension storage. The token is created when you connect the extension to your Amend account, and you can revoke it at any time from the web app.
What it does not do
- It does not collect your browsing history and does not track the pages you visit.
- It does not capture anything in the background: every capture starts with an explicit action by you.
- It does not sell your data, use it for advertising, or transfer it to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.
- It sends data only to api.amendfs.com (your workspace); no third parties receive captured content.
7. Data retention and deletion
- Workspace content is retained for as long as the workspace is active. Workspace members can delete records, files, and proposals from within the app.
- Applied changes remain in the workspace audit trail so that reviewed history stays accountable; deleting a record does not silently rewrite its history.
- Disconnecting a source stops future syncs; data already in the workspace remains until you remove it.
- You can request deletion of your account or an entire workspace by contacting y.sato@skunc-ai.com. Operational logs and backups are deleted on a rolling schedule.
8. Security
All data is encrypted in transit over TLS. Sessions use HttpOnly cookies; extension and CLI tokens are scoped, stored server-side as references, and revocable. By design, agents and connectors cannot write to your records directly — every change goes through human review before it is applied, and applied changes are audit-logged and revertible.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise most of these directly in the app; for anything else, contact y.sato@skunc-ai.com and we will respond within a reasonable period. If your data is in a workspace controlled by your company, we may redirect your request to that company as the controller.
10. International transfers
We process data in the regions where our infrastructure providers operate, including Japan and the United States. Where data is transferred across borders, we rely on our providers’ safeguards and contractual commitments.
11. Children
Amend is a business tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. We will post the new version at this URL and update the effective date above; for material changes we will notify workspace owners by email or in the app.
